What information is there about the liquidity of Bricks?

An investment in Bricks is not liquid.

For Brick Owners to sell their Bricks on the Platform they need to list their Bricks for sale, making them available for other investors to buy. As a Brick Owner, you determine the number of Bricks you wish to sell and the sale price per Brick. As buyers only purchase at the lowest available brick price, the seller's listing price may influence how quickly their Bricks might sell. Bricks are sold only where there is a buyer willing to purchase the Bricks.

Information which can assist investors to view the liquidity of a particular property can be found on the summary tab, such as:

  • the number of Brick Owners
  • the number of Bricks sold over the last 30 days
  • the last 50 individual transactions (found after you click the ‘Buy Bricks’ button).

The information shown, is accurate as of 4 Apr 2019 and is subject to change at any time.

Refer also to the Product Disclosure Statement for information on how the Order Book works.

Brick Owners in a specific BrickX Trust collectively can decide to sell the property. This will require a vote between the Brick Owners of the BrickX Trust. Refer to the Product Disclosure Statement for more information on when and the process involved.
